Jonathan Situma

Advocate

Jonathan Situma is an Advocate, a Commissioner for Oaths, and a Notary Public. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law. As the Managing Partner and Founder of the firm, he oversees all legal matters to ensure that there is delivery of exemplary services to our esteemed clients. He is a member of the Law Society of Kenya. Mr. Situma undertook his pupillage in the law firm of Oloo & Oloo Advocates LLP and upon admission to the Roll of Advocates, he was retained as an Associate Advocate. His main task was to litigate cases in Oloo & Oloo Advocates LLP’s extensive litigation portfolio, which he did diligently for a period of eight years. He continues to conduct cases at various levels of the Kenyan judicial system, from subordinate courts, High Court, specialized courts to the Court of Appeal, touching on disputes such as contractual claims, prosecution and defense of compensation claims, children custody and maintenance cases, divorce, succession, winding-up and receivership proceedings, property disputes, labour and employment matters, judicial review proceedings and constitutional petitions.

 

Carolyne Nekesa

Associate Advocate

Carolyne Nekesa is an Associate Advocate in the firm. She has a Bachelor of Laws Degree from JKUAT and a Post-graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Law (LLM) at the University of Nairobi. She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya in good standing. Prior to joining the firm, Carolyne had worked in leading law firms and in a state corporation where she gained wealth of experience in the following areas: Corporate, and Commercial Law, Employment Law, Family law, Probate, Administration and Succession, Conveyancing and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
